These Terms apply to Canadian residents. For US residents, see our standard Terms of Service.


1. Definitions

  • "Savrr," "we," "our," or "us" means Savrr Inc., a Delaware C-Corp operating in Canada as a foreign entity.

  • "Services" means the Savrr mobile app, website, and related services.

  • "User," "you," or "your" refers to any Canadian resident who registers or uses the Services.

  • "Third-Party Services" include Plaid, Apple App Store, and any other integrated providers.



2. Eligibility & Registration

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Savrr.

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep them updated.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.



3. Use of Services

  • You may only use Savrr for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.

  • You agree not to misuse or interfere with the Services (including attempting to reverse engineer or hack).

  • You must comply with all applicable Canadian and provincial laws and financial regulations.



4. Intellectual Property

  • Savrr owns all rights in its trademarks, logos, software, and brand assets.

  • Users retain ownership of their content but grant Savrr a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it within the Services.



5. Third-Party Services & Disclaimers

  • Savrr integrates with Plaid to provide financial data aggregation.

  • Savrr is not a bank, does not hold deposits, and does not move money.

  • We are not registered with FINTRAC as a Money Services Business because we do not handle, transmit, or hold funds.

  • Use of the Apple App Store is subject to Apple's own terms and conditions.

  • Savrr is not responsible for downtime, errors, or breaches caused by Third-Party Services.



6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Savrr offers a free trial period, followed by a subscription fee.

  • All billing and renewals occur via the Apple App Store.

  • Sales Tax: Applicable GST, HST, or provincial sales taxes will be added to your subscription at checkout as required by Canadian law.

  • If a payment fails, access to Services may be suspended until resolved.

  • Refunds: All refund requests must be made to Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. Quebec residents and residents of some provinces may have additional cancellation rights under provincial consumer protection legislation.



7. Termination & Suspension

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

  • You may stop using Savrr at any time by canceling your subscription through the Apple App Store or deleting your account in Settings.

  • Quebec Residents: You may have additional cooling-off period rights under Quebec consumer protection legislation.

  • Upon termination, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where legally required to retain it.



8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy - Canada.

  • We comply with PIPEDA (Canada's federal privacy law) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

  • Quebec Residents: We comply with Quebec's Law 25.

  • Your personal information may be processed and stored on servers in the United States. By using Savrr, you consent to this cross-border transfer.

  • You have the right to access, correct, delete your information, and file complaints with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.



9. Disclaimers

  • Savrr provides the Services "as is" and "as available."

  • We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  • We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

  • Consumer Protection: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Canadian federal or provincial consumer protection legislation.



10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Savrr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

  • Our total liability will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 CAD or (b) the amount you paid to Savrr in the 12 months preceding the claim.

  • Quebec Residents: We do not exclude liability for damages caused by intentional or gross fault, bodily injury, death caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Quebec civil law.

  • All Canadian Residents: We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death/personal injury caused by negligence.



11. Dispute Resolution

  • Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact us at legal@savrrapp.com to resolve disputes informally.

  • No Forced Arbitration: Canadian residents are not required to arbitrate disputes.

  • You may bring legal action in the courts of Delaware, USA or, at your option, in the courts where you reside in Canada.

  • You may bring claims in small claims court in your province if your claim qualifies.

  • Quebec Residents: The class action waiver does not apply to you. You retain all rights to participate in class actions under Quebec law.



12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA.

  • However, mandatory Canadian consumer protection, privacy, and tax laws apply where required by law.

  • In case of conflict, Canadian consumer protection laws prevail.



13. Force Majeure

  • Savrr will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, internet outages, or government actions.



14. Severability & Waiver

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our rights.



15. Changes to Terms

  • Savrr may update these Terms from time to time.

  • We will notify users of material changes via email or app notification.

  • Canadian Residents: If you do not agree with modified Terms, you may terminate your account and may be eligible for a pro-rated refund under Apple's policies and applicable consumer protection legislation.



16. Language

Quebec Residents: This agreement is drawn up in English at your request. Les parties ont demandé que la présente convention soit rédigée en anglais. A French translation is available upon request at legal@savrrapp.com.
